Took a chance on this and bought it when it had no reviews. It's been great! The drive itself is plastic, but feels well made and sturdy. The USB cord is permanently attached to the drive and conveniently stores underneath the drive. The cable is ideal for mobile, being about 10" in length, but could be used on a PC if you have top facing ports on the case. It's also the first drive I've seen to have both usb-A and usb-C which is helpful for future-proofing. As for the drive reading, it read new blu rays effortlessly and the manual even recommended a free software to read them if you don't already have an app. I've also tried reading CDs and DVDs as well as writing to a CD and all functioned perfectly as expected. For the price, this is exactly what I wanted and I'd definitely recommend!

This Blu-ray player can’t read DVDs, and it also can’t read 50GB Blu-ray Discs.This has wasted both my time and money.

This device arrived today and it is great! I really like it's sleek lighweight design, and the attached cord tucks neatly into the bottom of the case itself. The cord also features both a USB-A and USB-C type connector so it is the perfect complement to almost any computing device (Windows, Mac, etc.). Item was delivered quickly and I have already tested and used it on both my Win11 work computer and personal MacBook Pro with ZERO issues. Watched several old-school blu-ray movies and even tested it with an old-school software installation DVD. Seems to work with pretty much anything I can throw at it. Love it! Thank you seller!
