I don’t write reviews, but this thing has saved me so much time from cleaning leaky pee pads. I have a cat that refuses to use a litter box for peeing. She also has diabetes and inhales at least a quart of water a day. She probably pees out a quart of pee a day and trained herself to use pee pads. I don’t know what black magic the pee pad gods created, but this thing holds all of her pee and probably has room for more. I’ve tried amazon basics pads and it not only leaks through, I’d need one pad for each of her pees. So I’d say I’m saving money with these. Heck, I swear it keeps the pee odor in too. If you’ve ever smelled old cat pee, you’ll understand. If this brand ever stops selling, I will literally cry. BUY IT! You won’t regret it!

My dogs have used potty pads for 20 years and it took this long to find the best.These are thick and very absorbent leaving smaller areas of urine on the top layers, therefore lasting much longer. They remain flat on the floor, sturdy and DO NOT leak.I must mention that Deep Dears pricing, along with the durability of each pad have made this a value in every respect. I'm totally impressed and my search for THE BEST pad is over.

I like the size and construction of this pad. Our dog is peepee pad trained and this brand works out very well for her needs. My only problem is that I find it difficult to open the plastic bag that they come in. I usually end up ripping the first pad, which means the pad is useless.

I have tried so many pads that "crazy" comes to mind.Ah heck I'll try these. Can't hurt after all they are mostly the same as the other's Boy was I wrong!! Straight out of the box they felt special. The outer blue edges and the pads top layer are actually a type of plastic? It's not plastic like other plastics, but more like a diaper top layer. These absorb immediately and there is absolutely NO urine odor. No scent to drive me crazy either. I have given few away to other pet owners and they always comment on the feel of the top layer. It keeps the urine from soaking through the top and running like crazy across the pads. Yes you other pad makers. You know I'm right! My 34 lbs pug and 4 lb long haired chihuahua both use the same pad at night. No more waking up and stepping in the liquid that leaked over the edge. Disgusting!!! PLEASE don't wait. Buy them already and stop searching. This is the last pad you will ever buy.

I have repurchased this product a couple of times, but after dealing with constant cleanup under the backing, I shopped around. If you replace this pad daily, you might not see a lot of leaking. I use it on a plastic tray with a grated walking surface, so I change the pad every two or three days, and there is always pee that has soaked through the supposed liquid barrier plastic backing. I tried the American Kennel Club Training Pad, and it is much more liquid proof, and costs considerably less (50 cents/pad instead of 82 cents/pad). Note however that the AKC XL 28x30 is the dimensions of the soak pad, not the backing dimensions.I especially do not recommend the Deep Dear pads on flooring that would be damaged by constant wetness.
