Since my family has a growing collection of water bottles, I attached this to the side of my utility shelf in my pantry and used it as a water bottle holders. You can easily see where your water bottle is. I've cut it in half in between the stitching and it's held up well. I haven't needed to reinforce it which shows how well this holder was made. As you can see, it can hold a 40oz Owala water bottle just fine without hitting the other water bottles around it.

I use two of these in my coat closet for all my hats, gloves, scarves, neck gators, etc. I use two of the shorter rather than one of the longer because I like having most of my stuff at eye level and I have some things stored on the bottom of my closet that would interfere with the door closing tightly with these hung on. I do wish the clips over the door were a bit more snug. I occasionally have to adjust these because they shift a bit over time, sliding horizontally on the door.

Did not purchase these for shoes but for herbs so I could hang out of the way on my fence. I lined each pocket with a garden bag, put in the dirt and plant and I was good to go! Held up very well, washed in machine well so I can use again outside next year. Excellent price for two!
