I love this thing! When these types of blankets came out, I bought one. It was higher quality but much smaller and was a little thicker than this one but it didn't make it any more comfortable. Also the more expensive one was really only good for two people sitting close together, due to its smaller size.I prefer this one by a long shot. It folds up to nearly the same size as the more expensive one but is much larger and the price is was very reasonable at the time of my purchase. We use it on the beach (we live on the beach in California) and its durability is excellent!Just as you'd expect it to be for a cheaper price, it's quality is less than that of a more expensive blanket. Again, you should expect that. You don't get top notch quality for a cheaper price. That's just silliness to expect otherwise. You ALWAYS get what you pay for.I highly recommend this and love it! I'm very pleased and so I find it deserves 5 stars for its price.

I bought this for my daughter who is moving away to college in the next few days. Her college is somewhat near the ocean and so a picnic blanket is a new must have. I have one that's similar like this that I keep in the car and use whenever it's needed so I decided to get her one in the same style. I love that it is waterproof so that she can put it on the damp sand or damp ground and not worry about getting wet. It folds up really nicely and makes it easy to carry and also easy to store. I've suggested she just keep it in her trunk and it's always available whenever she wants a spur-of-the-moment hang out on the grass with friends or go to the beach. It looks to be quite well made and I love the size because it will easily accommodate 2 adults and 3 if they're not all stretched out.

This is a great outdoor blanket!! It is large; we've had 5 people on it at one time and had more room! The waterproof back works really well; we have placed this on damp grass and no one got wet. We just let the back side air dry and it was fine. The material is soft with a little bit of "cush" to it. I am planning to order a few more as gifts to give to family that really liked this and wanted to know where we bought it. I like the way it folds up and has a carrying strap so you can just carry it on your shoulder. Definitely recommend this blanket!

After reading tons of reviews, I got this with zero regret. It took me 1-2x to figure out how it needs to be refolded since the flap is in the middle, but after that, easy peezy. Quality looks great! Love the fabric because its easy to dry when it gets wet. Has a silver padded waterproof bottom for comfort and convenience. Easily fit 5 adults sitting upright OR 2 couples lying down, OR 3 friends lying down who need space to give you a mental not of how big this thing is LOL. Couldn't be happier, thank you!!

Pros:-affordable-nice look-waterproof-light-large enough for 3-4 adultsCons:-hard to re-fold-weave is very loose -making it basically impossible to clean if you get anything on it-if you do get any debris on the bottom the way you have to fold it to make it carry-able will get debris on the fabric (which again is impossible to clean without ruining the weaved fabric)-mine also came with some sort of dense balled up lint? wrapped around a weave string which caused a small snag even while using scissors to cut offNot recommended for children, messy eaters, or rustic splintery wicker picnic baskets.

This is my favorite summer accessory! I've used it six times already in a month sitting outdoors. It is huge - I've fit four people very comforably with food in the middle and some of us lying down partially so I see no issues with six people sitting cross-legged (or with feet off the mat). It looks great and sturdy and refolding isn't an issue! I was concerned about weight given how large it is but you barely feel it, and the strap helps! I haven't tried machine mashing because it has the aluminum shiny side, but wipedowns work just fine so far!

We go to summer concerts every year and every year I complain I should have brought a blanket,but they are a pain to carry around, they get wet from the grass and you really need one that that's all you'll use it for. So a quick Amazon search of picnic blanket brought me here. It's much larger than I expected so all 4 of us adults and my kid all fit! The back is waterproof so I just shake it of swipe it fold it up and toss it in the trunk and its ready to go next time too. It also has a carry handle. It's about the size of a laptop bag folded up. Super light so not a hassle to lug around. Glad I found it!

I've had this for over a year now, using it heavily at beaches, riversides, camping, picnics, etc.It's pretty comfy, a bit noisy but it doesn't matter because it's completely water resistant. It's not repellant but water doesn't go through it easily.The folds actually leave quite an imprint on the shiny (floor facing) side, so it's really easy to fold if you have either two people, or a flat surface.It folds compactly enough that I keep it in my car with no issues.It's not stupid easy to clean, but easy enough. Sand doesn't stick too much to it.
