Should have bought these for my snow boots long ago. They make keeping them adjusted easy and look much neater than having the regular laces flopping around in a sloppy bow at the top of the laces. Generous length as well. Photo directions for how to thread and adjust the the laces through the toggle are helpful. I will buy more for other shoes.

If you want ELASTIC shoelaces and don't want to tie them, this is a great choice. The clip thing really works well (holds tightly).

I was hesitant at first. But I suffered an accident in December of 2018 and nearly lost my left leg between the knee and ankle. I don’t do a lot of welding anymore but when I do you have to cover them or swap out your laces for leather ones. These laces will keep your boots consistently tight and they will not stretch or loosen. I’ve been using them for 6 months and I still haven’t noticed them loosing any stretch or elasticity.Don’t get too tight, I made that mistake then got stuck in 2 feet of snow. My feet got wet and numb and when I finally did get my boots off my feet had that thousand needle feeling as the blood flow returned.I was also sceptacle about these laces working with the hook style keepers. Both because I was afraid the metal would wear them out and getting them on and off the hooks to take my boots off. It’s not a problem and they have really given me the support I need without having to use two separate laces so that I can go all the way around my left boot at the upper hook to make sure my boot doesn’t come loose. The only thing I believe they could improve is the clip that retains the end of the laces. I’ve had one that allowed one of the laces to come loose, and getting that little thing back open isn’t easy. I also had on that broke and had to use a new one from a another set of laces. A metal or brass clip with a paper clip type whole to release would be a great option! Even if it was at an additional cost.

I bought these to replace tieless laces on my favorite hiking shoes. I was a bit skeptical about them being elastic, but that is not a problem. In fact I ended up liking them for that as well as for the lock mechanism, which keeps them just as tight or loose as you want. The lock mechanism is actually the 5-star feature in my opinion. Some tieless laces don't allow you to adjust the tightness once you secure them initially, and for me that would be unacceptable. These adjust easily on the fly anytime you wish. They are easy to "install" initially - simply lace your shoes, measure how much extra length you'll need for the secure clasp, clip excess, install the clasp, and you're done. A couple minutes per shoe max. I'm purchasing extras to carry along and also to convert my running shoes to these.

I have very high arches and find the laces that come with the standard Keen’s Sandals to tight. These boot replacements are long enough to customize the length and put the original end-tags back on. I cut one of these boot laces in half With a with a small amount of extra and saved the other one for future use. Now they are perfect.

They are nice, but the no tie doesn't work for high boots. I gave them a 3 star because I like them enough to keep them, but I left the clips off and simply tie them. They are at least better then my previous shoelaces, even though I still have to tie them. When they are tight enough to be secure on the feet, I can't get them off and on.

The fastener came off a few times and caused the lace to fray, I had to cut the lace short each time. You cannot tug it to tighten without it coming off, so it doesn't work.

Never had stretchy laces before. So good to thread and adjust and once set up it's just pull off and pull on no tying of lacesJust DO NOT use these on Amy sort of motorbike boots!!!!You need stuff laces to keep normal boots on I'm a spill and I mean even 10 km/h. They'll just rip off your ankles so not recommended at all where boot security is essential.Otherwise for just walking around they're great and offer comfort due to slight stretching
