I am so impressed with these pegboard hooks and loops that I am actually taking the time to leave a review for them. True to their description, these hooks are extra thick, have a great black powder-coated finish, and 100% stay in place when removing or returning an item to your pegboard. I bought these to replace a lot of wimpy Everbilt pegboard hooks and accessories and my only regret is that I did not buy the larger assortment so that I could replace more of them! I will definitely purchase these again in the future.

The product is as advertised - "extra thick." That means in some cases you will have to struggle to get the hook in the holes, or resort to a drill (to widen the hole) or hammer (to force the fit). That said, they look great and are much sturdier than the everyday pegboard hook kit.

Some of the longer hooks got a little bent in the box; easy enough to straighten out by hand though. The smaller hooks have holes punched through the ends with a leftover bur making the tip that inserts into the pegboard somewhat miss shaped and difficult to install on a metal pegboard, would probably not notice on traditional pegboard. A file takes off the bur quite easy. After taking the burs off they worked well for how I am using them. Little pricey for having to touch them up myself. That being said I would probably buy again seeing as they are fairly sturdy and better that anything the local hardware store offers

The set has a good variety of shapes and sizes - there are even plastic covers for the protruding pieces so you don't snag on them. The hooks have a little knob to keep the hooks vertical so the hook doesn't flop around. Well designed and manufactured set. The black coating seems very durable and good looking. The only - very minor - downside to this set is with the heavier hooks and coating, you need to work the hook into the hole. Once there, it stays in place so overall I like it but you can't be casual about placing the hook.

I give these a thumbs up they are sturdy, fit the pegboard and don't come out of the board with the item.

I ultimately picked these because one of the reviews commented at how much thicker these hooks are than basically every other item you'll find here. Other hooks come with another stabilizer hook to keep things steady and secure. These don't need that. Despite being more expensive then other options, I think this is the best set of pegboard hooks you'll find!

Quality of the delivered hooks/items was poor. Three items had clear defects (missing peg, broken weld, misaligned peg). In addition, the second peg on each item was not well placed and the hooks were loose and wobbly in the board. They come out when you remove the item hanging from them. With other vendors' hooks (that included the second "peg" on each piece), the pegs fit snugly in the board and the hook did not move during use. They are advertised as heavy duty but were still smaller diameter than others I have purchased. Even if the standard fit works for some specific pegboards (?), quality is still clearly a problem.

most of the peices arnt consistent, the thick wire makes it impossible to bend back into shape. so you get what you get.
