System works great. Original battery for the collar died so I purchased another. That 1st battery replacement last 6 months or so.So I ordered a 2nd battery and installed it. This 2nd battery died on me in less than a month's time. I read that some of these batteries were finicky but man this was the one recommended by the manufacturer of the system. I could see if I'd gotten an off brand to replace it. Debating if I should give Extreme Dog Collar battery another try or not. Disappointing to say the least with this last battery.

We use an Extreme(TM) electric dog fence to keep our setters safe from passing traffic while allowing them full range of our acreage. The system is highly effective and the training period very short. But.... it's only as good as the batteries in the collars which seem to last about 4 months. The batteries are easy to replace, just unscrew the cap, drop in a new battery, and replace the cap. They are WAY more expensive than they should be. I pay the price because they keep our beloved setters safe. Annabelle is a nine year old female and is wearing her collar in the picture.

I have purchased many times for my dogs electric collar. Last about 6 months. Good quality fir the price and no complaints.

I liked it the first 4 times I bought it, in the last three times I noticed that the batteries were lasting less and less campare to the first time.
