This product fit my Polaris Sportsman perfectly, but if you’re mounting a Badlands 2500 winch the holes in the mounting plate don’t align. You’ll have to mark and drill your holes for the two bolt mount. After a little fabrication it mounted perfectly.

It’s beefier than I expected. Required a little coaxing to fit the SuperATV Black Ops #2,500 winch but it works as advertised.You may need to pick up longer bolts than what are included with your winch.

Not much the say other than the warn winch fit into it very well and it bolted up to my machine just fine. I did add some self locking nuts to the mount bolt just to give them a little extra support in case of heavy loads. The mount plates they go into are just self threaded into the metal so I've overly cautious. Probably not needed but better safe than sorry. I do recommend removing the bumper, covers and plastics to make the installation easier. Good product for a good price.

The backing plate was straight and fit well but the winch cover/fairlead piece was twerked and twisted like a toothless meth-head and required some bendage to fit. PITB. Poor QC. Truthfully, the box looked like a restock return so someone else probably couldn't figure out how to straighten it to fit since the holes were so misaligned.

Put a Harbor Freight Badlands 3500 lb winch on my 2005 Polaris Sportsman 400. Holes lined up perfect. This bracket was beefy. Overall impressed and made my install a Breeze.

Brought this and a basic winch to a a friends house for a quick install. We needed it that weekend so no time for returns, ended up cutting out some of the mount , a large portion of my front bumper and drilling new holes to fit it ion the Polaris sportsman, and drilling new holes for a xbull winch.I did not check to see if the winch was standard size or compatible, just assumed it would be easy. So that’s on me But the product claims to be for my exact quad and it is not.Basically I could have just got a flat plate of steel and would have been better off.

Mounted the hf badlands zxr 2500 lbs winch on my 2007 polaris sportsman 450 with minor modification. Elongated the carriage bolt holes to mount the fairlead that comes with the winch and drilled 2 holes in the mounting plate to allow for the winch's 2 hole mount. No issues so far. Works great and comes with all the hardware you need to mount.

Installed this mounting bracket on my 2008 sportsman 500 ho with ease. The holes lined up perfectly to frame and to winch. I aligned winch and winch guard to left set of holes to centre winch. Paired it with a champion 3000 lb winch. Everything works perfectly. All mounting hardware was provided.

I ordered it in Friday. My local post office is closed on Monday. It arrived in Tuesday. That's right! I ordered it, and it was waiting for me, less than 24 hours from the next time that the post office opened. Free shipping also!This was my first time, installing a winch. It'd be extremely easy if I did it again.But the instructions don't really instruct you at all. I suppose that's because it isn't for one specific quad. So they just leave it to you to figure it out.Unfortunately, I installed it, put all of my plastics back on, put the cargo rack back on.... and then noticed that I had to move the winch to the holes on the mount, 1.75" to the left. So every single thing that I had just installed, now needed to be removed. At least I am now an expert at installing winches on an 09 Sportsman!The moral of the story: This item could use better instructions!

Fit perfectlyThey give you self tapping screw to bolt it to the frame, I drilled through and used bolts and nuts to make sure the threads don't pull out
