Great value. It's nice being able to test my regular bow with the same arrow, but with a harmless tip. I'm not shooting it with anything higher than 30lbs though. I mainly just wanted my kids to be able to practice in my backyard. We just shoot at empty milk jugs and it punches them pretty good. Very fun and much safer to use.

Whatever you do, don’t buy another brand that’s a bit cheaper or you’ll regret it. If the bow has any power it’s like taking a fastball to the ribs. These are soft as a cloud. Just make sure you retighten regularly and don’t shoot at solid targets with a strong bow or the arrow will push through the foam.

These works as advertised.I am shooting 10 shots every other day on each of these at a hanging target bag in the back yardMuch less worried about the rogue shots hurting someone or something. The assembly can be a bit off of center. Some are perfectly centered some are leaning one way or another. They will not take the force of a bow over 35 pounds though. They will begin to either break apart at the cone or ,like most of mine, begin to poke through the soft foam layer. No issues at 25 pounds, but began to see the damage start at 35 pounds

I am a LARPer and have been for years. If you are too then you should be familiar with how unreasonably expensive LARP safe arrows are. These are not only a good price but well made and SAFE! I took the liberty of slicing one down the middle. The tip is soft open cell foam. The bottom is firm closed cell foam. It can be screwed into any standard arrow or bolt shaft. In the core of the arrow head it has a metal flat peice so that if somehow the foam fails there isn't a risk of puncture to people or objects. My only suggestion to my fellow LARPers is to possibly cover the open cell foam with fabric. As to keep it from absorbing dirt and water and becoming compacted. Stay safe and I hope this review helps!

Upon delivery, we swiftly placed our 10 foam tips on our arrows. We took them out to the backyard for some archery fun, and in about an hour 3 of 10 tips separated upon impact. I've never bought this type of product before, so I don't know how normal this is. Frankly, I'm not impressed. Along with the separated 3, some of the tips are manufactured crooked.Do they work? Yes. Choice of material = A+.Can I make these 3 usable again? Yes.Is it worth buying these to have 30% of the product fall apart in the first hour? Up to you.In the future, I think I'll order another set from another seller and determine if it's just manufacture design or do all foam tips tend to fall off easily.

Tried with a 20lb and 30lb recurve, as well as a 40lb compound to see how theyd fair and shot only two of them around 50ish or so times. One finally failed and metal poped through the foam but its easily repaired. Def would but again just watch the heads for cracks in the foam. Impact also dosent really hurt heads are nice and soft.

Shot each arrow about 120 times before the batch of ten was completely destroyed. They work well for targets shooting and practice but I would not shoot at people with these.
