Just bought an electric dirt bike and needed some peace of mind when locking it up in my garage because I live in Oakland, CA which is basically Gotham City and plagued w crime. This was very easy to install w a proper masonry sds bit and my Bosch hammer drill. The shackle is wide and accommodating and easily fit my heavy duty Kryptonite motorcycle chain. Word of advice when installing: drill the holes deeper than the length of the bolts. I drilled mine exactly to length but concrete dust caused the bolts not to fully seat into the hole and left a slight gap underneath the base plate. Totally my fault but I filled the gap in with some liquid nails to prevent anyone from trying to pry the plate up.

I needed a safe place for my son to secure his bike to my home because he had to unlock and secure a gate to our driveway twice a day to go in and out and it was becoming problematic. Now he has it safely on the other side of the cage attached to our home with this super heavy duty anchor to my home. Thanks

I used this for a closet to secure something which needs to be locked up. It is very sturdy; could be used in a garage but worked well for the closet. It was also very easy for my handyman to install in a matter of minutes. I am using it and there are no issues.

I would rate 5 starts however one bolt screw was defective. I was still able to secure the anchor with 3 bolts. Also I noticed 1sr day of use started to rust. I did sand it down and applied a sealer. No complaints since then. Overall I was satisfied with the product.

This is perfect. Fits well. Looks as if it belongs to the floor in my garage. I havent tested the durability but I dont see anyone taking this off.

I got this product to enable us to securely lock our scooters in the Garage. Mission accomplished! I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend.

After having my motorcycle taken from outside my garage I decided to anchor it down. It took a little time to securely attach it to a concrete pad however I am pleased to report my bike is there waiting for me each morning so the anchor seems to be doing the trick!!!!

Seems very tough. Had to buy a 5/8†cement drill bit. Installed fairly easily. I like it. Think it will hold up very well.

I've just fitted this bracket to my garage floor to secure a motorcycle.The price is excellent. Quality is great. Value for money can't be beaten.A lot of reviews of these brackets are very negative, and unfair at best.People slate the quality of the bolts, when in reality there is nothing wrong with them.Imho, people who destroy the bolts when fitting, do not drill the holes big enough.My method:Mark the holes to be drilled using the bracket itself.I then drilled pilot holes - 6mm, 10mm and then finally the 16mm (I think) to take the bolts.CAUTION - make sure these last holes are big enough to take the bolts. I had to 'ream' out the holes with the 16mm bit to accept the bolts. This step is IMPORTANT...! The bolts should be able to be tapped into the holes with light force, not belted in. Be sure to leave the screws in the bolts' expanding casings while carrying out this step, or the expansion part of the bolt will get destroyed.Take your time. It is not difficult. The cost of a few drill bits will be saved in the knowledge that your possessions are secure.At the end of the day, if someone is hell bent on stealing your property , they will steal it, whatever precautions you take. Just make it more difficult for them, in the hope that they will move on.
