Works well for a homeowner that will only use occasionally.It would not hold up to frequent use.Be sure you use cutting oil and low RPM when drilling.Also, don't push too hard or you WILL flatten the bit.

Everything was good except the tap. It seemed dull. I tapped a 1/2" thick 1018 material steel plate. Mild steel. I did 4 holes and installed the heli-coils. The installation was a piece of cake. Overall for the price I shouldn't complain.. I recommend it for small jobs.

nice product but the metal in the tap was pretty much garbage, did ot even last first hole through 1/4" aluminum plate

the coil has 4 treads and is useless. Returning
