It's a pretty cool idea. The way the bracket works you can have the wall mount on either side. You could actually hang it wall-to-wall if you want, but I think there is a less expensive version where it doesn't include the side bracket. They certainly do not under communicate. The bars are much sturdier than they look. It gives the appearance of PVC, but they are really steel. The idea of not having to cut anything for the size you need is also pretty cool. I used a small, screw size drill bit first so when I ran into a beam, I could just screw into it. Where there was no beam, I switched to the 1/4" bit. This worked perfectly for the wall anchors they provided, which are solid and were easy to install with the drill exactly as they suggested. They even provided a magnetic level that fit perfectly on the round bars.

I bought 2 of the longer 64" - 118" shelves. They are definitely the sturdiest, nicest looking shelves I have seen. I bought many shelves, brackets, center supports, and top covers, with friendly help from David. He made sure I ordered exactly what I needed. These are even better looking and less expensive than the IKEA systems. I built a custom looking dressing room for much less than any other system. I was wondering if the longer length would effect the sturdiness of the shelves, with 2 center supports each they are very strong and secure. I do wish I had put a little more thought and planning into exactly where to place the center supports. I found wonderful blue cloth bins at my local Habitat for Humanity store - 8 bins for 1.00! I can fit 2 bins per section, but if I had moved each center support over just 1 inch I could have fit three bins per section. I'm glad I hired a handyman friend to help install these. Because of the length of these shelves they would be unwieldy for just one person. Note - the pole ends are different diameters. Make sure you have the correct end pole holder for each end. We did use a rubber mallet to coax a couple stubborn ends in. I have weird walls with a layer of plaster over the drywall. Some of the drywall anchors broke off half way in, but we just drilled holes to screw the anchors in. The shelves are really strong and I'm confident they will hold whatever I can put on them. I also bought the snap on shelf tops to give these an upgraded look. For strong, better looking shelves, these should be your first choice.

Firstly, the directions + support video are awesome, making installation failproof, comprehensive and clear to understand especially if ur a diy'er like me. Being expandable allowed me to change the design midstream without having to order an another unit to fit the larger expanse. If ur considering those tacky wire shelves, do urself a favor and get the EZ Shelf instead. The difference in price saves you repeat trips to home center, eliminates all those small parts + pieces with sturdy, easy to install and strong shelves.I decided to do a corner unit after purchasing a wall-to-wall piece, soI called the help line to confirm I needed an additional end bracket, and the owner, David answered. He was so helpful and responsive, I now know why the product is terrific. When the owner helps you, and i could hear his dedication to his product, u know that is a reflection of his product + company.I am in sales, so I understand customer service. They have both a great product + great support staff to assist you.Kudos David and EZ Shelf!
