I bought these to reattach copper pipes to the floor Joists where old hangers had deteriorated. They are solid copper and a perfect match for copper pipes.

I was shocked when I found that both Lowes and Home Depot only carried cheap, copper plated steel pipe straps. Putting steel against copper pipe, even if it's plated, is asking for a disaster down the road. Imagine the mess on pipes secured inside finished walls. In my case, I was securing LP gas pipes, and the last thing I wanted were pinhole leaks from microscopic corrosion.These are legit copper straps, and work just fine. They're a little thin, but they do the job and won't corrode your pipes in future years.

These are perfect. They have sufficient depths for three-quarter inch pipe, have a wonderful copper finish of aa reasonably strong gauge. The attachment hole is large enough to accommodate an appropriate size screw. I went to a big box store and bought what they had and found they were cheap crap which had none of these characteristics. So glad I found this item on Amazon.

Unlike "copper clad" steel strap clamps that you can purchase at the big box store hardware, these are the real thing. 100% copper. Nothing worse than galvanic corrosion from steel/copper being in contact. Oh, I did test them with a magnet to be sure, and they passed.
