Through times of dimension testing and modifications, our 6.5 bore sight fits the chamber extremely well. The bolt can go into full battery, which ensures in chamber bore sight laser does not deviate from the barrel axis.
The compressible white pad on the butt plate solves the length mismatch problem, with a compression range of 0.5mm.
Make sure all batteries are facing in the correct direction to ensure your sights work properly.
Since the bore sight does not have an on/off switch, remove the battery after use.

The unit I have is well built and concentric. I use mine indoors; waste of time outdoors. First, measure center of scope to center of bore - it is usually 2.5-3â€. Subtract 1/4†and make two dots on a piece of stiff paper or cardboard. Find a place indoors (safety!) that is long enough to focus the scope parallax, and tape the target to a wall. Confirm no live rounds near rifle, assemble/insert boresighter. Put LASER on lower dot of target; adjust scope until crosshairs center on top dot when laser is on lower dot. Voila, you’re boresighted and should hit very close to your 100 yard target aiming point. Fine tune adjustment at range.I used this method on a new 6.5 CM. Took it to a friend’s and hit a 12x12†target first shot at 220 yards. Can’t beat that. 3 more shots had me dialed perfectly. At the cost of ammo, I figure it paid for itself and everything now is gravy. Recommend this unit; it’s built to be concentric in the chamber, bright, and mine was very accurate. Works like it should... if the laser is off u can adjust it... mine was perfect from factory... really helps save money by not wasting ammo!

Worked as intended for the most part. Does not fit into chamber completely with bolt shut so I was not able to determine if it was perfectly in line with the barrel. The laser really is only visible out to about 50 yards. Maybe in the dark you can see 100.

This laser comes with spare batteries and makes zeroing a rifle easy by sighting in your scope to barrel prior to actual shot placement.
