Easy to use.,Fixed my sons Ford ranger. They said it needed a compressor but I vacuumed lines and put the Freon in it and compressor started right up.

Overall, this manifold gauge works flawlessly once i figured out the correct open & close position of the low & high pressure valves [to determine the correct position, i had to blow air from the inlet]. It appeared the attached photo's low pressure valve direction is wrong. The hose appeared to have more plastic into it than rubber. Otherwise, this works fine.

The manifold is great, but the hoses are cheap quality. After only the second use, the hose busted and I had to replace it

I've used the device several times to recharge Freon in my home ac. A/C unit has a small and difficult to find leak, which requires recharging every three months. Perfect device.

I am mad as hell . I chose this item because of the picture shows the metal open and close handles but when the gauges arrived they had the plastic handles. Bait and switch. I could of bought the plastic knob gauges for less from other sellers .

I gave it an extra star because it looked like it might work and the manifold assembly seemed solid. I'm returning it without using it, so I can't say if it actually does. Here's why:Seller sent wrong shipping info (tracking # & dates). I had to contact them to find out. Then it took nine days to arrive, very poor.Website description stated 5 ft hoses but they are only 4 ft. Threads in hoses were burred and wouldn't attach to the gauge without de-burring first. As some others have said, the hoses look cheap and do not inspire me with confidence that they are safe, however I did not test them.Website description stated an included ACME adapter however there wasn't one. ($10 item if you need it).Instruction booklet is vague and did not mention closing the center valve (yellow hose port) during pressure testing procedure.
