Love these! I wanted a barbell rack without it being huge and stationary and this works great for my space. I I need to move them it isn’t a big hassle at all. Sturdy and do not wobble at all. Assembly took a while but wasn’t difficult. I would buy these again if I needed to. The picture isn’t the greatest since it is a screenshot of a video but that’s what it looks like set up.

The instructions aren't the best. I needed a socket wrench and pliers to tighten each bolt, so if you don't have these on hand get them. Otherwise, the stands will wobble. I think some people assume if the instructions don't mention any tools, you won't need them. Assembly took me about an hour. Unless you're benching really heavy, I think this product will do the job at a great price.

Great rack for a good price. I have been using it regularly with a 45lb barbell loaded with weights on each side for squat and for bench and these hold up very well. One thing I knock down a star for is that the base support isn't the most stable so you'd need to weigh these down so they don't move around when racking after a set. If just the base of these was heavier it would alleviate that problem, but as they are now just make sure to throw a weight on the feet or a sandbag or something. Either way that shouldn't stop you from buying these as they are a good price and far below the heavy duty gym equipment brands that cost a fortune.

Perfect for my basement home gym. Assembly was pretty easy with a 17mm deep socket and 17 mm open end wrench. You can use adjustable wrenches, it will take a little longer. It took longer to beat the plastic end caps on the feet than anything else. I have used it for both back squats and bench press. I am 5’ 11†and 185 lbs. I have the bench and squat racks set to the max height. I don’t think the squats would as well work for anyone over 6’ or for guys with bigger chests for bench press

I am very happy with these, but I’m writing to warn buyers that there are a few things that it’s essential to know. First, the good stuff: very sturdy, apparently very stable. It takes a while to assemble, but it’s worth it for the price. Then the warnings. I would recommend them to anyone with these qualifications: (1) The instructions are minimal, a chart of the components and a sketch of the assembly. (2) There are no tools included and no indication of what tools would be needed. You’ll need two wrenches. None of my standard American wrenches fit. I was lucky to have two 17 millimeter bicycle wrenches on hand and they did the trick. Two adjustable wrenches will work, but you may have troubles reaching where you need to reach. (3) The nuts are of a sort you may not be familiar with. When you screw the bolts into them it only travels maybe a third of an inch and then stops. You cannot screw it in further by hand. If you are worried about stripping the threads you may be reluctant to go on. The trick is to force it with a wrench. Make sure the black end of the nut is away from the head of the bolt, and apply pressure to the wrench to continue screwing the bolt through. I don’t know what these nuts are called, but they’re a kind of lock nut, and they’re a Good Thing. (4) The instructions have nothing to say about how the components work together. For the most part it seems obvious, but . . . .I’m sure this problem is only with my shipment, but one of the two adjusting popper pins does not work well. I’m not sure whether the problem is the or the component it fits into.

This rack is a great value. I'm 6 feet tall and it will work perfectly as a squat rack, and I can put them beside my bench to use for bench press. Assembly was easy, took me 30-40 minutes. All you need is a 17mm socket ratchet and wrench, and it will go together smoothly.

For starters, this was difficult to assemble and the instructions weren't very helpful. Each piece took about 30 minutes to assemble, plus the prep and clean up time. You also needed several tools. After the difficult assembly, the holes in the stand didn't match up when standing at the lowest height. You have to raise the bar about half an inch in order for the holes to line up.The safety bars are interesting. First, they are a very long, so when you do the bench press you have to lower them to a point that they are useless as safety devices in order to lift properly. If you don't, the bar will hit them. Next, the pins that they lock in with aren't very good. They don't go all the way through. Actually, they can't. For some reason the other end of the safety device is closed. I don't know why they would design a safety product like that, especially since the pieces that hold the adjustable bar can go through both ends. Furthermore, the screw pin to hold the safety sections is very short and often doesn't screw out correctly. The pin stays stuck and you find yourself struggling to remove it. Once you do remove it, the spring in it usually pops out and you have to put it together again. This happens every time you want to adjust the safety devices, on both sides!FInally, they wobble. It feels like they want to tip over when putting the weights back on the rack. There is a saying that goes, "you get what you pay for." This was the least expensive product I found, and I got exactly what I paid for. If you want to avoid my mistake, look around and be willing to spend a bit more for a better product.

I feel like this rack gets a lot of negative reviews. I've used it for a year and half, on carpet, with no problems. Yes, the top may wobble a bit when removing the barbell, depending on how aggressive you are with it. But it has a wide base and doesn't move on the bottom. I've never felt like it was unsafe or unstable. I also use bands wrapped around the barbell while on the rack to simulate a cable machine. No issues whatsoever in 18 months.
