When broken, it shatters into many small fragments which prevent major injuries. This type of glass is intended for uses requiring superior strength and safety properties while standard glass could pose potential risk of injuries. Flat polish is the standard edge produced by a straight line rectilinear or cnc machine and produces a fine polished flat edge suitable for all furniture glass and frameless toughened panels.

I contacted all the local glass shops when a storm blew the glass off our patio table and demolished it. The prices ranged from $1,200 to nearly $2,000 for a replacement. I was reluctant to order something so large and fragile online, but after talking with them I decided to try. I am so happy I did. Excellent product, as advertised, shipped really fast and looks great!! I would definitely buy from Fab Glass again!!!

We purchased this glass for a custom outdoor table that my husband's grandfather made as a family heirloom 40+ years ago. We were akepti am about ordering glass online and having it shipped rather than locally, but the price was fantastic and we have it a try. I'm so glad we did! The glass arrived on time and intact! Our outdoor patio table blew over in a storm and the glass shattered. Usually the glass replacements were the cost of an entire new table (although our table is one of those very sturdy old iron ones...hard to replace). Found this one and extremely impressed with the cost and how quickly it came. Not to mention, how great it was packaged. Praying it doesn't break anytime soon, but if it does, I'm ordering from here again.

I was totally thrilled to receive this glass top for our patio table. It came right on time and the packing was excellent! (My husband did not believe that anyone could get a glass tabletop on the internet in on piece!). We researched buying this size table top in our local area, and found that our glass companies wanted almost twice as much!!! The quality of workmanship was superb, the hole in the center was clean and the "hole cover" from our old tabletop fit perfectly. We could not have gotten better quality from our local glassmakers! We are totally impressed with Fab Glass and Mirror and would recommend this company even internationally!!!

The glass top was not as advertised. It did not have a 2†diameter hole in the center of the glass ( for an umbrella).
