Completed installation
Installed the mounting bracket 4 screws then pushed the cover on. If the mesh fell off, you may apply some glue to make it affixed better.
The metal mesh is made of aluminum, while the outer ring is made of ABS Plastic.
Paintable white aluminum grills match any decor.
Satin white powder coat finish is extremely durable and corrosion resistant, which may be washed as well as painted.

Looks and performs well. The metal screen seems to be as thick as most factory screens and should keep the speakers well protected.

These are basically a get the job done kind of product and you have to be very careful installing them because they crack very easily. The mesh grills themselves are also very delicate so be careful handling them or you will bend and warp them. These are a good solution if your budget is tight and you just need to get it done. They kind of warp a little bit when you tighten the screws (do it slowly with a screwdriver, NOT a power tool) so they don't really stay perfectly symmetrical and round.

Two things, first, while the ad says there are two parts, one I assumed was the grill, the other the rim and even after specifically checking on what was 'in the box', I ordered two because I needed to grills for matching subwoofers. The photos were unclear if the '2' meant parts or the two, actually meant 2. Seems the speaker ads these days more often than not refer to one subwoofer cover. Why not use the term, 'a pair'. Seems simple enough. Anyway, now I have 4 grill covers that don't fit. I needed to have these grills fit into a recessed opening. The trim piece is too big. The measurements given on the ad were both inaccurate and inadequate. Now I have 4 really crappy Frisbees and still no cover for my subs.

I was searching for a replacement cover for my mobile home remodel. I did have to do some thinking about how to use them but we actually spread some loctite on the in er surface and held them on u til dry with painters tape. Waiting 48 hrs. To remove the tape and they held perfectly. I love them and would but again.

We had our house pressure washed (won’t do that again) and the speaker covers got wet. Over time they rusted, we removed them sanded and repainted them. The rust kept through again. Replacing them with the same brand was going to be a few hundred dollars. So, ordered these not really thinking they would fit or be of good quality. They are metal with a plastic rim that screws into the ceiling. They are a perfect fit and were 1/10th the price of the brand name. Bought another set just so we would have a spare. This is a great product.
