These eggs were great! I ordered the 2.5â€, which are the size of a real egg (perfect!). They arrived quickly and were a great deal for the price (about $1ea). They arrived in a thick transparent plastic bag within a padded plastic Amazon bag. Not what I’d consider safest, but only one egg had issues. It had a short gouge scratched into it, but I didn’t care because I was going to be covering the eggs with Saints wraps from ShiningLightDolls. The eggs were very smooth and sanded very well. They were all of exact same shape & size. They were very clean, no stains, and no off-gassing VOC-type smells. There was a very slight smell kinda like vinegar.My littlest has already played with and dropped his egg (we used them for an egg hunt for Easter and let them keep one out & stored the rest for next year) many a few times. But there’s no damage yet, so they’re sturdy. You may want to wipe them down with a damp cloth before using. They had a film of very fine sawdust on them. If you’re on the fence, go for it! These are a quality product, not a “what-on-earth-will-I-end-up-with†knockoff from China.

We bought these for a family egg-painting activity for Easter. The eggs are small, and have a flat bottom so they can stand on their own. They are perfectly smooth and ready to paint. After painting, we coated them with Mod Podge to protect the paint, and they can be Easter decor in the future. Great product.

I bought these for Easter egg hunting for my kids (4 & 7), as I am trying to move away from the plastic ones. I painted these with stockmar watercolor paint and then coated it with a bit of beeswax, they turned out great w/ the color! Even after Easter, they continued to play egg hunt until I put them away for next year. I bought these about 2 weeks before Easter. Shipping was super duper fast. I really wanted to get the eggs that open to replace the plastic ones, but I started shopping too late & everything was sold out so I ended up still buying another plastic set. Buuuut these are super sturdy, will last forever, and our kids can only have so much candy and small junk. They’re great extras just for finding, kids looove to hunt eggs! Regardless of whether or not there’s something in them. (Just a few with goodies is good enough).

These wooden craft eggs are well made and smooth making them easy to paint or cover with paper. Small size works well for my projects.

I rated this product a five for what it is it’s a great product. I was looking for an egg shaker instrument. Where these were solid wood. I was looking to paint them but didn’t realize they were solid. So saving for an Easter project for the kids.

I bought wooden eggs last year for a class project. This year for the life of me, couldn't find the same size 3". I purchased from this seller because he offers more quantity and I think the price was right. the eggs are small at only 2" but perfect for the craft my student would do. The eggs are smooth, all are the same size and you don't have to do anything with them but display them if that's what you choose to do.
