The ornament is a nice heavy silver-colored metal. It came with a silver string to hang it on the tree. I swapped the string out for this little maroon ribbon and used it as part of a CMU swag display for my dd graduation. It looked great and now she also has a nice Christmas ornament. I think it would also look nice hanging on a wall. Fire up, Chips!

Was very impressed with the quality, much heavier than I expected. It was a Christmas gift for a K-State alumni and he loved it!

Very shiny durable medallion that can be an ornament of neacklace. I put it on a chain that I have hanging from the rear view mirror in my new blue car. Only comes with an ornament strand.

This is a nice ornament. It's very well made. Only complaint is that it's pretty heavy and requires a sturdy branch to hang it from. Would prefer if there was less material used so that it was lighter.
