These models of remote controls are working on the same frequency(303.9MHz) and have the same function.
If this replacement works on a different frequency or programs do not match than your original remote control, it can not replace your original remote even they looks very similar.
Setting the Codes
- Look the DIP Codes inside the original remote with the battery cover off, the DIP switches hidden behind the slot for the battery as picture shows.
- Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote.
- Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.
Set different PIN code if control multiple ceiling fans
NOTE:
- If you control multiple ceiling fans in the house, please check the PIN code settings are different between these, or it may let transmitter next door or your neibourhood's remote activates this ceiling fan in your other rooms. This may cause the fan turning on strangely while you are not at home.I
- f you have PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together.

Our circuit board is designed on the front of the remote control for aesthetics. When you look up from the battery compartment, you will see the yellow circuit board on the back.

I bought another unit else where and it did not function as expected. This, however, worked like a champ!!! I bought it to replace my Hampton Bay fan/light which was no longer working consistently. I've been in the house for 17 years and the previous owner had the fan/light installed, so the old remote needed to be replaced. I liked it so much that I ordered another for the setup in the living room!It was a bit tricky to set up, but took less than 3 minutes. On the first use, the light and fan turned on and off. However, the fan speeds did not switch from Low to Medium to High. The trick was to turn both the fan and light OFF using the pull chains and then use the remote to turn the light & fan on.Worth every penny!

I have an older Thomasville P2505 Carmel collection wooden fan and light. It is in a vaulted ceiling room so really high up there. The fan woudl be useless without a remote so when the remote broke I was pissed thinking I woudl have to replace the fan as well. I saw this remote and checked the FCC id and mine was not listed but I thought it was worth a try. It was easy to program and it works better than the original. The one thing I don't see is a way to reverse the fan rotation as I could with the other remote. However, I only did that 3 times in the 18 years the fan has been up there, so not a big loss

The remote was easy to program and works well. However the batter rattles around inside. A small piece of foam could have prevented this.

I got this to replace my Tommy Bahama ceiling fan and it is compatible. The remote worked as soon as I put the battery in and pointed it to the fan making the transition and connectivity easy. I didn't have to change any programming and definitely recommend for others.

I have been looking for a replacement remote for my fan for 2 years. The fan still looks new and is in perfect working condition except the remote works occasionally, and sometimes not at all. Finally found it! All I had to do was make sure the dip switch was the same. So happy!!! Thought I would have to replace my fan!! This will work if you have a Hampton Bay fan model # UC7030T!! It was so easy!!

Worked perfectly. I purchased 2parrot uncle fans for two different rooms, the controllers would not operate each fan separately, even with help from the factory. So I changed the one controller and now they work independently. !

Replacing the original after 25 years, it no longer gets responsive. Swap with this one, it just works. The only thing annoying is to put the whole thing back with the wires is a challenge when it's 10 ft high.
