Compatibility
- This FAN-9T fan remote replacement suitable for Hampton Bay thermostatic remote with Fan Timer.
- Check the part number on the back of your original remote, it need to have the FCC ID/Model: L3HFAN-9T/FAN-9T.
- If this remote not work,it is recommended to buy a complete kit with a receiver in the store.
Operating the Remote/Transmitter
- 1. Load 4 "AAA" 1.5v batteries (Not included).
- 2. FAN AUTO Button. 3. Fan speed "MANUAL"mode. 4. Fan speed FAN AUTO mode.
- 5. Light Button (orange). 6. LIGHT TIMER and FAN TIMER buttons.
- 7. LIGHT DELAY button.
Easy to Install
Setting the Codes:
- You need set the same DIP codes on the remote to match your original remote or receiver before using.
- Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.

Works as described, controls the fan & light remotely. Thermostat function controls the fan speed, high, medium & low very well. Has timer functions. Be aware that the light button is only on/off with no dimming function unless I missed how it supposed to operate. Wiring into fan housing is simple, if you know electrical diy wiring.

I am beyond thrilled with this replacement remote control. I have very high ceilings in the living room where my 10 year old fan is. I am 90 years old and was afraid I would have to buy a new fan when the remote stopped working. I didn't even know that it was possible to just replace the remote control, until I looked on Amazon. I received it today, put in batteries, and it was that simple for me. May not be the case for everybody, but for me it is a blessing. Highly recommend.

I feel this is an essential accessory for any room with a ceiling fan. When it is hot, it runs, when it cools off it stops. Simple and brilliant. We have wood burning stoves in a couple rooms so this is a life saver as the room temperature can really swing.Appearance is classic 1990's but function is superb. Installation is logical and about as challenging as hanging a ceiling fan.

Replaced an existing ceiling fan remote that got fried in an electrical storm. Taking the ceiling fan apart was a chore but the new remote control kit works fine.

I replaced the fluorescent bulbs in my Hampton Bay fan with these LEDs. Once turned on, the lights cannot be turned off and the fan doesn’t work at all. Everything works fine when I put back the fluorescent lights. The remote control is not compatible with the LED lights.
