This mount has some grip and holds tight on my handlebars. It has a standard ball mount so my Garmin RAM mount connects without any issues to it. And when not in use it comes off super fast unlike the OEM Garmin mount that bolts to my handlebars.

This clamp is very well made, compact, with both halves made of solid metal and thin rubber pads on the clamping areas. The screw mechanism works smoothly, and there is a spring that pushes the jaws apart on opening. All of the holes are threaded in the standard 1/4†size to accommodate any standard accessory, directly or via a (not included) adapter to 3/8â€. The included ball-head mount can be screwed-in into any of the four openings, or not used at all.

Compared to other clamps I've tested on round bars, such as bicycle handlebars, this one is the most secure.The thumb screw for tightening feels just right.However, the ball attachment design isn't optimal for tightening. I recommend using threadlock when attaching it to a bike, as it can loosen due to vibrations.

A well made solid and secure mount.Whilst I ordered this to mount a selfie stick and 360 camera for Moto Vlogging I was happy to find that it also fits my Apple CarPlay unit which I modified when I first got and does have a habit of slipping on the bars.Well it did, this holds it rock solid 😀
