The EFGC Series (Heavy Duty) Flail Mower is an option if you are working on grass or brush. Ideal for an orchard, nursery, vineyard, in the greenhouse or for gardening. With its fast blade tip speed and interchangeable blades, it is perfect for your grounds keeping tasks. If you need to maintain more dense areas, install the hammer blades and you will be able to cut and mulch wooded material up to 3 inches in diameter. This model is great for acreage larger than 15 acres. Flail Mowers are useful for jobs where you are cutting grass on uneven ground, high grass, weeds, brush, and small saplings. A flail mower doesn’t throw grass, instead, it cuts finely and leaves the cuttings on the ground where it was cut making it an excellent choice for those places where you could cause damage by throwing debris. Highway mowing and park maintenance often use flail mowers because they are less likely to throw objects during cutting. Overall Width: The EFGC 155 has an overall width of 67″.Cutting Width: The EFGC 155 has a cutting width of 60″. The gear box shaft seal was damaged from factory. If manufacturer took a moment to look they would have seen it. I was sent free replacement under warranty. I have about two hours on mower so far.

As mentioned by many other reviewers, the included belts are trash, and will shred quickly, so buy replacements immediately so you aren't stuck unable to work. Other than that, I am really enjoying my flail mower so far.

I bought this item to replace my old brush hog. I had to contact BETSTCO three different times because the order had been missing parts or I received the wrong parts. BETSTCO is amiable to deal with but their quality control process obviously needs improvement. When I finally got the mower assembled, greased, and oiled it seemed to cut as well as the old brush hog but not necessarily any better. By the time I had finished using it for the first couple of hours it was spewing gear oil at a steady rate down the front and back of the machine. The PTO drive shaft needs to be cut to the appropriate length. When raising the three point hitch to full height with the mower attached and the PTO spinning, the PTO drive shaft hits the kick stand and ended up damaging both, in my case.

I bought a EFGC 195 and agree with the efgc155 guy. We had to go thru the whole unit and found several bolts loose and then the belts lasted about 15 minutes. We took the new spare belts to our local belt supplier and found out that they were dead from shelve rot. (Old age). We ordered some parts from them and did not get all that we ordered. When I called, the BOSS, Sarah IMPLIED that I lied about what I ordered and hung up. She does not take any feed back at all, and today I received an E-Mail stating that I should find another seller of Farm Helper. They think that they control the market, but the are wrong. By the way, Timcon Belts last much longer and yes they do cost more but who wants to change belts when mowing a 50 acre orchard. Betst CO is not the best one around and with the tariff tax coming, Farm-Help (China) is not going to sell CHEAP quality as well as low prices much longer. We thought that we had found a good dealer, but we were wrong and our Farmers CO-OP is looking for another supplier. A mysandry is not a pleasant person to work with when you're in need for parts fast. Their unit can be fixed by anyone if you can get thru the sales order woman, she is the boss and will let you know it!

They ship these flail mowers with imitation belts they literally burn up in 10 minutes after using it ridiculous they shouldn't bother putting belts on it at all just a huge headache and inconvenience now I'm running around trying to find real belts
