I have this on two vehicles, a 2011 Tundra that tows a 5,600 pound travel trailer and a 2015 Sierra that tows a 5,000 pound work trailer. On both vehicles it makes a sizable difference to help control trailer sway and bounce. On windy days it’s indispensable. Best feature is you can easily backup with it without having to disengage. Takes about an hour to install, having even a cheap Harbor Freight torque wrench is key. Highly recommend!

This wd hitch works well, but once set up, is not that easy to adjust. The hitches with the chains for adjustment would be easier to change settings depending on the weight in the trailer. If you're setting it up yourself, bear in mind you'll need a torque wrench capable of 450 ft pounds. The shank that came with the hitch was not long enough for my vehicle and trailer. The new shank cost more than $100. Judging from what I've read on various forums it is not uncommon to need to buy a longer shank, so plan on it.

Great hitch!! Very heavy duty and easy to attach. L-brackets can easily be moved if adjusting is needed. Would definately buy again. A+++

Do not purchase. I bought a Fastway e2 hitch when I bought my camper trailer, it was installed by the retailer where I bought my camper and was working well for eight years. Every season before I hook up, I inspect the hitch. This year (2023) I saw that the pivot retention bolt (at the bottom of the hitch) was bent. In order to get that bolt replaced I needed to removed the shank bolts. I got the pivot bolt off and replaced and when I went to torque down the shank bolts the upper bolt seized. I eventually needed to use a massive breaker bar to get it off, which actually broke the bolt with the nut on it!!Wanting to keep OEM parts I ordered the e2 Bolt Pack. As advertised it came with new Grade 5 shank bolts and nuts. I took it to a mechanic to have it torqued to the Fastway specifics for this hitch, 250 ft lbs of torque. My mechanic told me at 180 ft lbs the bolts began to stretch and actually lose torque so he could not get them any tighter. He recommended Grade 8 bolts.I contacted Fastway and had a lengthy conversation (via e-mail) with Jeremiah S. He told me that the bolts do not stretch and that my (ASE Certified) mechanic, whom I have trusted for decades, was wrong. I disagreed and he asked me to send in the broken bolt. I told him that I disposed of them, as why would I keep a broken bolt??? Then he said I could send my hitch in to Fastway to have them look at it at my expense. I told them that they already got me for $500 for the hitch assembly, then $50 for inferior bolts in their bolt pack. I asked what was I supposed to do and received no reply.I did upgrade to the Grade 8 bolts (typically have a golden color and six lines on the head.) Friendly guy at the hardware store informed the top (assuming the bolts are of good quality) torque specifics for a Grade 5 bolt is 267 ft lbs. Asking 250 ft. lbs is going the high end capabilities of a Grade 5 bolt. The Grade 8 bolts went on and torque down to 250 without a problem!Do yourself a favor and get a sway hitch assembly from a company who will respect you and stand by their product, they are pricey. If you are like me and already have a Fastway Hitch, DO NOT buy their bolt pack, go to a good hardware store and get the strongest bolts/nuts available. Don’t know about you, but I want my $18,000 camper secure.2 stars because it worked well for 8 years
