Perfect XLR snake to link RF rack with sound board. Good quality connectors! Would use in a permanent setting, but could be used on the road if taken care of.

This snake is a great addition in any studio or stage. I use it for live and recoding applications especially on the drum mics. I have a few of these sets and it holds up well and the feel and quality seems fine after some abuse on stage.

There's no strain relief on the connectors at either end of the snake. These are the weak points with the snake if you'll be using it for live sound. Why? All of the stress will be at the soldered connections within each connector, since the snake will be rolled up and or pulled around. Now, if it'll be used for permanent wiring in a studio of some sort, then it should work fine. Bottom line, using this snake depends on the application..

At least one of the channels had a short to the frame of the connector. The build quality was very cheap. Very small conductors and cut insulation inside the connectors. The customer service was also very poor. They only offered me a 15% credit to keep the defective product. The return policy stated I would basically lose all my money if I returned it because the original package was damaged in shipping so I threw it away before knowing there was an issue. DO NOT BUY any products with the Amazon "A to Z Guarantee". It is a totally useless return policy. You will get taken advantage of if you have a problem with your item. I don't recommend this brand or 3rd party amazon seller purchases.

We use this to go from our backtrack/monitor rig to the FoH snake. 20+ gigs, two tours, no issues yet. The outer layer is nice and thick, not flimsy at all.
