Works just like a the brand name filter. Just make sure you run the water for a few seconds when you first install it. There will be a bit of dark water that comes out. It happens with the brand name filters too. It's a little loose charcoal from the charcoal filter. I can't say how long it lasts yet but for the price it's so much better value than the brand name. The taste seems to be the same as the brand name.

Thought bit was a 4 pack based on price per count/unit, $3.40. I would have bought the similar product that was cheaper per individual filter. Please correct per ct price. I feel ripped off.

Fits perfectly in my Brita. Works beautifully. I love this filter. I am seriously going to be getting more especially at this price. I highly recommend this to everyone!! The water comes out crystal clear and tastes so crisp and clean. It was so easy to pop in. Almost too easy, I thought I did something wrong, but it was in. I turned on the faucet and there were no leaks, none of those stray streams. Just a perfect strong clear stream. And at that Cheap price you can't go wrong. I'm stocking up.

They filter fine, i had no issues with charcoal runoff or any of that, clear water from first turn of faucet but i let it run anyway. Water tastes great so its doing its job. Fits perfectly i only wish it was silver to match my faucet.
