I really should have paid more attention to what this was exactly. I knew it wasn't going to be a real feather boa but I did think it would be light and fluffy like one. I didn't pay attention to the fact it is basically yarn looped over and over again with what looks like loose frizzy yarn attached to each loop tons of times. I included a close up picture of that because my trying to explain it may not be very clear . That all being said it doesn't work for what I needed to do with it but I think it would be great for stage. From a far enough distance it will look like a boa and won't have the unavoidable shedding that feather boas have. In my opinion that's really the best reason for getting this version.

There are issues. The boa is 2 yards long but it is nowhere as thick as it is shown in the listing. There is a very very chemical smell and a weird feeling that it left on my fingers that started to itch and I washed them off thoroughly right away. The look is much worse in person. It looks like tattered string. This was bad.
