Ordered this boa for my Mardi Gras costume. Unfortunately the feathers continued to shed and it wasn’t usable. I’ve never had a boa that lost so many feathers just from moving it around slightly. I can’t imagine this being used on a costume. Very disappointing.

I know, they're turkey feathers, so what did I expect? I've used feather boas before though, and they stayed together much better (and longer) than these. Pieces fell off as soon as I took them out of the package.The instructions say to shake them a bit to fluff them, and hang them up for awhile to get them even more fluffy. I shook them and have had both hanging on a hanger for two days. If there's more fluff, I don't see it. I thought it would be neat to use them behind the lights and ornaments on my fireplace mantle (sans fire, of course), so hopefully these guys will make a nice background. If they do, I'll add a picture but based on their quality I don't expect them to last more than one use.
