Exactly what I needed for my 40ft 1.5in pool vacuum hose. Easy assembly (just snap several pieces together, no tools required). Light weight but sturdy design. Other reviewers said it didn’t work with 40ft hoses...my pictures are proof it has no issues at all. So much easier to place into pool when it’s not twisting and fighting you every step of the way. Start by attaching the wall suction (or skimmer suction) end 1st and wind up the hose. When you're ready to use it, attach the vacuum head and pole to the loose end and push into the water to fill and remove the air. Once unraveled, the end attached to the reel easily comes off and attaches to your pool vacuum port for use. Great price, well made, easy assembly & works exactly as described.

This seems light weight but it’s entirely adequate for the purpose, holding a lightweight pool vacuum hose. Makes it easy to set up the vacuum and easy to stow the hose when done. No more loose coils of hose to fumble with!

I bought this item a few years ago. This item works as indicated. It makes storing and unwinding your vacuum hose for the pool easy and dare I say enjoyable. I love the product and wish I would have purchased it sooner. It holds at least 30 ft of regular vacuum hose.

great, light and easy to put together. Needed something to clean up the 25ft of 1.5 pool hose hanging on my fence. The little clip to hold the end - you have to orient it correctly for the hose to hold as you are rolling it up.

For 10 years I have struggled when putting away and storing my pool hose every time I vacuum. This might be the easiest product review ever. It easily accommodates my 50 foot hose, yet it is still light and easy to store. It is very easy to use. For anyone asking if they really want to spend $70 for this, I'd say 'yes, you should'. It is one of those simple things that totally changed my outlook on vacuuming. I have no idea why I waited this long to get one of these, but I would highly recommend it.
