FeiyuTech Follow Focus Module is an Advanced Device for Focusing or Changing the Focal Length.
FeiyuTech FM1 Follow Focus Motor is a motorized follow focus module designed for use with FeiyuTech's SCORP, SOCRP-C and SCORP Pro 3-axis gimbal stabilizers. It is an advanced device for focusing or changing the focal length. It enables remote control of the focus ring on a camera lens from the gimbal, which making it easier to achieve accurate and smooth focus pulls when shooting videos.
The kit consists of an electric motor, a band that is attached to the lens and additional mounting elements. Thanks to the rack and pinion driven by a brushless motor, you will be able to move the rings smoothly. The module will significantly expand the possibilities of working with Scorp stabilisers. The unit features a multi-function button to automatically calibrate the travel to match your lens. In the kit you will find all the necessary accessories for quick and convenient installation on Scorp series gimbals.

One-button calibration
The follow focus module for FeiyuTech’s Scorp series gimbals features a multi-functional button that will allow you to calibrate the stroke and adjust the motor parameters to the installed lens in seconds. You can also do this manually if required. LEDs will inform you of the current operating mode of the module. By pressing the button three times, you can instantly reverse the direction of movement of the motor.
Compatibility
The presented follow focus module was created with the Scorp series gimbals in mind. You can easily combine it with models such as the FeiyuTech SCORP , FeiyuTech SCORP Pro and FeiyuTech SCORP-C / Scorp mini. The attachment band you will find in the kit is 35 cm long. With it, you will connect the module to dozens of different lenses – from telephoto to medium format lenses. The maximum diameter of supported devices can be as large as 10 cm!

I really wanted feyiutech to be my go to setup for my video creation was saving up to pursche there pro scorp upgrade from my current model the scorp cWith that being said I will be switching to roninI wanted this follow focus to work on my viltrox 27mm F1.2 lens but it is impossible to mount the motor to the lens and also balance the gimble I tried 3 types of senerios all lead to the gear not lining up or the thumb tab screws to mount the rod and motor hit one another not allowing either one to properly be tightened down.After wasting 2hrs I have finally given up I will be returning the item.

I don't know why Feiyutech is trying to distance themselves from other products, but going with a 10mm tube was probably the worst dedcision they could have made, nothing else uses 10mm, 15mm is the most common and you can't adapt from 10mm-15mm, also the mount of the remote handle means you can't use it with any other branded product either. The biggest mistake these 3rd party companies can make is to try to seclude themselves from other brands so you can only use their products, but when you are only buying their product to use with something else they have all but taken themselves out of the game in my opinion.
