I originally purchased one of the cheaper gasket sets when my head gasket blew, which was a HUGE mistake. I barely made it out the driveway and my car started acting up again and when I tried to slow down, it just cut off. After having to take apart my entire engine AGAIN, the "cheap" head gaskets coating was already peeling off and it didn't work worth a f***. So I did some more online research and this head gasket is the way to go. After cleaning up the huge mess and oil/coolant milkshake I had all inside my engine, I installed this head gasket and put everything back together. New oil, new coolant...etc. And now it runs like a new car. I haven't had any leaks at all. My car isn't running hot. I've driven over 500 miles and no problems whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend this head gasket to anyone needing a replacement. It's definitely worth paying a little extra for. Just don't forget to order yourself new head bolts, as this does not come with any. But yeah, after buying the gasket, plus the cost of oil and a new oil filter, I spent less than $100. It would have cost me anywhere from $1,500-$2,500 if I had paid a mechanic to do it. It's funny cuz nobody thought I'd be able to do it myself cuz I'm a girl. Ha! I had it done in less than a day, and I have no experience working on cars. Granted there's a lot of pieces and you gotta remember where stuff goes. But with a little patience and a whole lotta YouTube, it can be done. 😊 (And most of the YouTube videos recommend this brand btw...I didn't know it made a difference, but hopefully u won't make the same mistake I did)
