This works well to make my own gaskets on my old Tractor or anything that need a gasket. I have hole punches and scissors and a knife and make many of the gaskets I need on my N2 ford tractor. They cost too much to buy them individually many times, so I make them this gasket paper works perfectly.

Gasket material is always a good idea to have around for when you need one for something that you're having a hard time finding, a lot of times it's just easier to make your own and I use it for generators, carburetors, etc. a good product, if you do decide to go this route get yourself a hole punch and a good Xact-O knife kit, as well as a dedicated pair of scissors. Do it yourself and save money.

Works fine, it was a little on the thin side. But worked well for my cylinder gasket in my 80cc motor. The roll smells a bit gross.

I restore antique tractors and work on many older machines. Long ago gave up on buying the gaskets I may need and just buy rolls of this material and make my own as needed. Different thicknesses available (different part numbers) sheets are big enough for most projects -but with a set of dovetail punches the sky is the limit. A can of aviation form-a-gasket to coat both sides is the finishing touch as I hate leaks. Not perfect but much better than trying to reuse a 50 year old partially deteriorated gasket (good for a pattern though if enough survives disassembly. Comes in a tight roll so you need to gradually relax it to a flat sheet and store it that way too.

This was 1/2 the price of what I typically buy locally from large auto parts chains. Ordered Saturday night and received Wednesday at noon! Yeah it smells but same no matter where you buy. I’m using it for gaskets not as perfume! Works great as carb gasket, 2cycle top end gasket, 2 cycle crankcase gasket. Use it on husqvarna, redmax, stihl and others.

Oh, its the gasket material. Yikes. This is not the most overpowering smell. I don't smell it from across the room, but while I am working with it I am wondering if I got into the septic biz without knowing it.Ultimately its proven to be an effective gasket material for my small engine unit in my high school auto program. Using a laser cutter in the makers space this one 5 dollar roll will literally save my program hundreds of dollars every year over buying gaskets from the manufacturer or even knockoff gaskets. Every crankcase gasket $9.00 I can get a comfortable 8 out of the roll (maybe more). Then the carburetor gaskets are $3 each and I can cut out 100+ carburetor gaskets. I probably need to go with a bit thinner material to better match the factory gaskets considering crank endplay and things that are affected by thicker gaskets. But this was $5 dollars WELL spent.

Tiene buena resistencia y permite cortarse sin mucha complicacion. Yo uso un exacto para ser preciso en el corte. Hasta ahora va muy bien evitando una fuga que tenia en una pieza por donde pasa aceite.
