Used to replace the old seal when was changing out a bad thermostat in a 1999 Ford Explorer (4l sohc). New thermostats used to come with a new seal, not any more.Fit fine and is not leaking.

Used this for my 2007 mustang thermostat housing, does its job as intended. and currently less than 3 bucks off amazon, what are ya waiting for.

Was larger in diameter than the original - after getting the housing apart had to use. No leak after 2 days but the thermostat housing in not a robust design - only time will tell.

It seems slightly larger but I was able to shove it in above the thermostat and no leaks. 2002 ford explorer.Edit: I went back and compared it against the original once it had a chance to loosen up, same size so back to 5 stars.
