It’s a gasket, it fits, and it seals. Used on my 85 Astro van. A good alternative to messing with rtv sealant.

2001 GMC Jimmy 2 Door. 2WD. Apparently the 1998 C1500 rear end, 10 bolt, is different than the GMC JIMMY. Both 10 bolt but chevy has 8 1/2 gears vs the 7 5/8 smaller rear end blazer/jimmy combo. Check bolt holes to match gasket. I had the other felpro blue color gasket in my shop for the chevy. Doesn't fit. This gasket fit perfect. Watch the brake lines when removing.13mm bolts. Painted cover black. Cheers!

These fit my 7-5/8†10 bolt axle perfectly. Also were well cut so as not to struck out past the covers edge for a nice pro look.
