Don't forget to use the clear plastic tubes that come with this kit when installing these so you don't gouge the rubber with the tips of the valve stem. I have to say doing valve stem seals on this Toyota engine was a complete nightmare and I don't have much good to say about Toyota afterwards. I had to make my own custom valve spring compressor and keep the cylinders full of compressed air to avoid doing a whole cylinder head removal. But Felpro came through and I haven't had any complaints from the customer about burning oil after this was performed.

The description for thay part # was Valve Cover Set, not Valve Stem Seal Set. I told the clerk that the manufacture labing was incorrect, and if she sent me another, the warehouse clerk will pick up the same. # and the item description of the item will still be incorrect, which is what happened. Check the description that is on the package not the part #.

Made in China but felpro says they are of premium quality. No more smoke from the tail pipe when I start the car though. Should hold up for a long while.

This product seemed to be the fix however they sent me one too many seals, I made the mistake of not counting them before I started and ended up pulling every spring twice to double check that I didn’t miss one. Ended up adding 3 more hours to the job because I wasn’t going to seal up the engine not knowing if one had gotten skipped or one didn’t have a cap replaced. Also the little straw things damage easily I found the best way to use them was to slide them on the valve with my fingers, slide on the seal and take the straw off before I seated the seal. That way the straw has no way to get crushed to the valve during install thus ruining it.
