As my oil pump seal went south, I had to redo the timing belt since ever thing must be removed. I replaced these as precaution as you know what would have happened if I had not. Use a cam pulley sold on Amazon to hold the cam gear in place to remove the bolt. I used an impact to remove. Easy to replace, it just adds about 20 minutes to the total timing belt job, but much better than having to go back in later, and these seals are known to leak.Felpro is a good brand and can be trusted.

I didn't NEED to replace these in my 230K GX470 but since I was in there for the timing belt, I decided at this mileage to replace them. I've always had good luck with Fel-Pro so... got these. They are black instead of the factory brown color. They otherwise look like and fit like the factory seals. I don't expect issues.
