Purchased the 10ft cable - works well with a Dell Optiplex 3020 and a Dell E2222HS Monitor at 1080p 60Hz. Audio also comes though the monitor clearly if that functionality is required. The cable itself is approximately 1/5" thick and seems well constructed. It's covered in a braided cloth and relatively flexible. However if you have tight bends to make near the jacks (e.g. your computer is less than 3" from a wall) that may be an issue. The ends do not have locking latches so it's very easy to remove from both the Desktop and the Monitor. Friction was sufficient to keep the jack mounted vertically into the Monitor but if your monitor's port is worn/slack keeping it in place could be an issue. All in all it's a very good buy at $ 5.99.

Just bought this recently. This is the cheapest 10ft displayport cable on that I found on Amazon. The connectors are robust and the braided cable is too, as well as thick and heavy duty.

the cable looks good, build quality looks good BUT i came across electromagnetic interference big time. my monitor was flickering and display going black whenever i turned a light on or off in my room! this means interference! maybe i just have so much EMI in my room. i bought a thicker one and the interference stopped. so this cable did not work for my needs

This seems to work well so far, and the picture quality is exactly as I expect. This is a good price for a basic, but essential cable. I was surprised it doesn't have latches to keep it plugged in, but honestly those usually just annoy me, so this is cool.

I put my monitor on a monitor arm so I can adjust in, in this case I needed a longer cable. In the past I was running a cheap HDMI cable and at 180hz my display would flash off time to time. After replacing to the cable with a thick display port cable, this all 100% went away, flawless but, now that I installed the arm, I needed a longer cable.Used this cable and time to time my screen flashes off, meaning this cable is getting noise and is not a good cable overall. I would be shocked if this cable could do a solid 8k @ 60hz with the results at 1080p @ 180hz.I would return it but, I dumped the package...
