I bought this guitar because I started lessons in October. It was supposed to be my, “temporary guitar” until I “earned” a “real” guitar. This guitar is perfect for me. The sound is lovely, it surprisingly holds its tuning for days on end, even though it’s new, and it’s easy to carry around back-and-forth to lessons because of the size and the lightness. In the description you don’t see that it comes with a backpack gig bag, and that was a nice surprise. This is not a concert guitar, it doesn’t put out a ton of sound, and it doesn’t have strap pegs. All that being said, I truly love it. Even my guitar teacher was surprised at the tone and craftsmanship. I’m 5 feet 7 1/2 inches tall, and it doesn’t feel small. I would say this would be a great instrument for adolescent beginners, and anyone just wanting to learn to play.

I did NOT fully UNDERSTAND what a 3/4 guitar ACTUALLY was. And I gotta say, 1st video most prominent that comes up on Amazon page is angled pointing down the neck of guitar, guy playing (so you don’t SEE how very small it is head-on), with caption something like,”Got for my kids but so great I’m playing it”.Well, that made me think I’d have it as my Practice Guitar, and good Travel Guitar while I work on adjusting to my new steel string dreadnaught.NO. UH Huh. Nada. No way.Don’t make the same mistake. It is a beautiful lil’ guitar, decent sound, real light - yes, nylon strings. But it is a CHILD’s GUITAR!When you hold it, you have to CURL OVER IT to play, pick, strum … and it begins CONTORTING YOUR POSTURE. You begin learning a way of playing that NOW DOESN’T TRANSLATE to you big beautiful regular ADULT size guitar.Even my guitar teacher said, it will teach how NOT to hold & frame your arms, shoulders, weight.Plus - remember: THERE’S NO STRAP BUTTON underneath - so it cannot be used to practice while standing.Great guitar F O R A C H I L D. 👍

After a near miss with my better acoustic. I decide to buy a beater to take about with me. Fender is usually a good name brand, though I prefer Gibson. In any case, I order this one. It arrived in a reasonable time in reasonable good packaging. The guitar is made from toxic materials as it came with a warning. Strike one.It can't hold its tune. Each time I use it, I have to tune it. Usually I only need to tune my guitars but electric and acoustic, once a month. Not every time I go to play them. Strike two.The sound quality is ok, but very little to be desired. .I've heard better from cheaper. Strike three.Honestly I'm looking into getting a better one at me local music shop. Thank goodness for Brick and Mortar stores. If you're looking for a cheap beater, something to drag about, or for a fast practice. Something ultimately sacrificial. This will do. This is NOT, by any means, an investment.Fender should be ashamed.

My son was wanting to get into playing guitar and this was perfect for him. It is well made, easy to tune, and is a good value if you aren't wanting to spend too much.

Nice looking guitar with tonewood and careful craftsmanship. Might even improve the sound with better strings? The smaller size makes easier playing and great for traveling. Comes with it's own gig bag.

I have played guitar for years, and this was purchased for my 15 year old. The things that impressed me are:Strung for you and ready to tuneLink to a tuning appDouble boxed packagingWhat could be better:The big bag that comes with the guitar isn’t great and the zipper broke within a few daysSo it isn’t usableI would recommend this guitar to anyone who’d like a travel guitar or to players with smaller hands.

Guitar description was for "gloss" body, but I was sent satin. Gloss was in the description, and costs more than the satin. Gloss is what I wanted. So I promptly returned it.

I am beginner and I have a Yamaha C40. However I have difficulty stretching my fingers across five frets nice and easy at this point. That is why I started looking for a smaller guitar to begin with.Fender FA-15N is made of Sapele, including top, body, and back. In comparison, Yamaha C40 has Spruce top and Meranti body and back. My research shows that Sapele is much closer to Mahogany than Meranti. They are both good. Fender FA-15N has a brighter or more vibrant sound. And the resonation is good. Yamaha C40 has a softer or more calm sound. And it’s full size body brings even better resonation than Fender FA-15N.Fender FA-15N comes with a built-in truss rod that you can use to adjust the action height while Yamaha C40 does not. The rosette is painted, not real inlaid one. But overall it has a good looking, bright, like its sound.I’d recommend Fender FA-15N if you are a beginner with smaller hands. Otherwise, I recommend Yamaha C40.

Llegó más rápido de lo que pensaba, y en la imagen aparecía otro color de la madera y llegó una aún más bonita que la de la imagen. Me encanta esta guitarra por su tamaño y sonido
