ErAs others have said, if you are a seasoned play, or want to learn bass, you CANNOT go wrong with this model. Arrived in excellent setup, no fret buzz, low action, in 4 months I haven’t even changed the strings! Incredible to grab, sit on couch. It’s a semi-acoustic with a tuner, plug into amp…amazing! Has Fishman electronics, Bass & Treble EQ. My friends were amazed by this. We jammed with acoustics outside and loved it. I’ve been playing for over 35 years and this may be one of the best instrument buys I’ve had. An absolute no-brainer for the price. Thank you all at Fender. Man, what excellent quality-control they have.

I have many Fender instruments because they are great quality for a working man's price. This did not disappoint. I put flats on it and still gets good resonance.

Love the guitar, furious with Fender for attaching a Fender promotional sticker to the pick guard with extra sticky glue. Impossible to remove it without scuffing the pick guard. I haven’t even played the guitar yet and it’s already got scuff marks due to this ridiculous sticker. What are you guys thinking?

After looking around at multiple guitar stores for a beginner acoustic bass I settled on the Fender CB-60SCE. None of the local music stores had it in stock and I was leery of ordering a string instrument online and having it shipped only to have it arrive and be beyond my beginner to setup properly.Having ordered it, I must say that I am happy how it was shipped, and it even came ready to play! A simple tune and I was strumming away.I’ve had it a few months now and am very pleased with the quality for the price. The guitar has a good tone to it and is easy to get fingers all over the fret board.

I opened it and instantly saw the bass was missing a little piece on top and also had a crack in the back, felt poor quality and felt like it can easily break. Do not recommend

Llevaba varios años caliente con la idea de comprar un bajo acústico, y finalmente me animé con este Fender CB-60SCE que entre oferta flash y algún cupón me salió por 221€.Viene en una caja de cartón relativamente protegido, sin funda ni estuche de ningún tipo. Tengo otros instrumentos Fender y al ser este el más barato temÃa que tuviera unos acabados pésimos, pero qué va. Me ha sorprendido mucho el acabado el instrumento para el precio que tiene, pero es que viene también bien ajustado, no trastea, ni se desafina demasiado.El motivo que me llevó a comprar un bajo acústico es que me di cuenta que apenas tocaba por no sacar el bajo eléctrico de debajo del canapé de la cama, coger el amplificador, el afinador, los cables... Con este, me apetece tocar algo rápido y siempre está disponible.El sonido del instrumento sin enchufar es mucho más que suficiente para ensayar en casa, incluso podrÃa servir para acompañar una guitarra acústica que no toque muy fuerte. Para otros usos hay que enchufar sà o sà al amplificador.Como aspectos negativos dirÃa el afinador incorporado no es todo lo preciso que podrÃa ser y por pedir, estarÃa bien que viniera con una funda de transporte.
