I almost did not buy these do to other reviews. Glad I did. They are light weight and easy to tote around. The red part that holds the legs is PLASTIC and this really should be metal. However if the stands are not abused this part should hold up well. Treat the stands carefully and don't chuck them around and when extracting and retracting the legs be gentle and don't force the red part, it will move easily if pressure is applied at the right places. They are very stable, the legs extend out far enough to stabilize it without taking up a lot of floor space like bigger stands (this is why I bought them). At the lowest the BOTTOM of the speaker is at about 2-1/2 feet and at the highest the BOTTOM of the speaker is at 4 feet. So it will not extend high enough to place the speaker above your head if your standing. The clamps are plastic but the knobscrews fit well, just don't over-tighten and you should be fine. I use them for Yamaha STAGEPAS i400 speakers and they work well for this (unless you need them to be higher up).

I recently purchased and receiced the Fender Compact Speaker Stands with Bag from Austin Bazaar and couldn't be more happy with the entire transaction and product. Â I was somewhat hesitant at first since I previously bought poorly made stands that could not hold much weight at all and were flimsy and I was unsure how the shopping process would go as well. Well the shipping process was seamless, from the expediency of the delivery to the receipt of my product at my doorstep. Then to cap it off with such a well made durable product which perfectly fits the bill for holding my powered speakers to be used in a musical performance, is priceless. Very good quality, well made. Definitely shorter than standard speaker stands so double-check the specs to make sure they will work for your application. I'm quite happy with them. The carrying bag is very good.

It's Fender so that's cool and it holds good weight but they are small.

Really like the ability of these stands to fold up into compact forms. The carry bags holding two stands really makes them portable.

I did a field test with a magnet and the magnet sticks to every piece of metal not to mention how heavy the stands are right out of the box.

I had to replace my cheap inferior speaker stands and I need something asap so a shelled out the extra money for these and I am very happy. Love how light they are and they are much sturdier than my old Pyles. They are a little shorter than I would like but that is my only complaint so far.

These stands are perfect for a smaller style speaker. I use them with my Ramsa 80’s . I wouldn’t want to put anything larger on these stands. They are extremely portable and well made.

These are decent little stands. Light weight, they setup quick. However the red piece is a light plastic and seems like it would not stand up to constant use in a mobile DJ rig. They also aren't quite as tall as other speaker stands, my yorkville NX25ps sit at about 5ft 10inches to the top of the speaker. Great buy if you like to do random house parties and other events.

Pretty solid decent looking stands, but I needed something a bit more robust to be able to relax and perform. Definitely felt unstable to me, but pretty good for light speakers.
