Love the tuners but you have to change barrel even with same vintage tuners. Not problem just tap out old barrels and tap in new one with a larger hole. They are a little tight but just work them back and forth before steins. Great tuners made in Japan. Good price on Amazon other places will cost more.

Great quality. Installed on a 2020 player series strat. I did have to ream the holes slightly and use different bushing sizes.

Perfect tuning machines for a vintage style Fender headstock. Split top design, small press fit bushings, oval buttons, and nice short posts for the proper break angle over the nut. Mine say FENDER in a single line down the back of each casing.

These tuners will not fit a Sprier Jazzmaster. The tuners are not interchangeable with Squier. Though they seem better than the original equipment on the guitar, they are obviously of no value if they do not fit.I hoped that a brand name tuner would fit the same manufacture of the instrument. If they are designed to fit your instrument, I'm sure they will do fine.

I've received two sets and the bushings were too small on both of them to fit over the pegs. This is very poor quality control from Fender. I see I'm not the only person who also received defective parts.

3 of the 6 tuners had the very same problem that I was trying to solve with my old, worn out tuners : a ridiculous amount of “play†in the tuner. As in, I’d get nearly half a turn in the tuner before the actual shaft would begin to turn. Very disappointed and expected a lot more in quality control.
