Removable tip
Removable tip allows for siphoning on top of the sediments as not to disrupt and rack sediment into the new container. Once you are ready to go all in just remove the tip and siphon right to the bottom of your container.

For the price it's perfect, it does what it's meant to do. I have had no issues with it. Zero leaks i did learn however bottling is just an art on it's own and I'm mediocre at it. I'm not going to blame it on the wand lol.

As far as getting the siphon going, this works great! However, the clip that was included to stop the flow while bottling arrived broken. We wasted a decent amount of mead switching between bottles because of this, even though we thought we could just pinch the tube to slow the flow. Next time we will practice with water first. I tried contacting Amazon to get this piece replaced but it appears we've missed our return/replace window, and I didn't see a way to contact the seller or buy this piece separately =(

I do a lot of at home wine making and this is a very good product especially for racking as far as transferring it’s OK but very happy and satisfied

the siphon is short so it is not awkward to use on 1 gallon carboys and it is thin enough to easily fit in the mouth of the jug. it comes with way more tube than i needed which is nice because i cut it in half and have half for when the first half gets funky. the little clamp is super nice for holding it in place when racking because you only need one hand to get it started. i dont use the clamp when bottling because it holds it straight up and down in the bottle and i tend to tilt the carboy to the side to get as much of my mead out. the bottling wand is nice doesnt leak any more than a few drips which is pretty standard for bottling wands. it is not super easy to clean but when you are sanitizing everything all the time what is easy to clean? all in i would recommend this to anyone doing 1 gallon batches of wine or mead as it is just the right size.

I used this many times so far. I did mess it up by transferring my pasteurized mead before I let it cool down which warped the end slightly so it's not good for transferring hot liquids, but I should've known that but my impatience got the better of me. It had a slight learning curve when using it one handed but it's a good item overall. I would have like for this to maybe come with a back up hose and a pinch tool to give the user the option to choose the method of flow control but ad long as you have a good clear area this works great.

So... part of this is stuck in my fermentation jug, as it is too short for what I needed, but that's my fault. Everything else in the kit is awesome, so this isn't a complaint. I should have paid more attention before ordering. I have the appropriate sized siphon now, from the same company, so again, my error, my fault.

El producto es excelente (me sorprende no conseguirlo localmente) y la vendedora muy atenta. Si buscas un buen sifón para simplificar el proceso de embotellado, este es el mejor que vi, sin comparación.
