About this item

  • Great Sounds Lead to Great Performances: This electric drum sound engine delivers a superior drumming experience, thanks to its advanced sound modeling. Just like acoustic drums, you can play with wide dynamic range and dramatic tonal changes depending on where and how hard you strike the pad. Natural hi-hat transitions, dramatic crash hits, sustained cymbal swells, and more, every nuance is detailed, accurate, and ultra-smooth.
  • 12-Inch Independent Digital Snare: The digital snare pad works with the high-speed processing in the module to bring the ultimate expression to your snare work. A three layer mesh head is fitted to a standard 12-inch shell for natural rebound and feel. The multi-element sensor system tracks your playing across the pad, with head, rimshots, and cross-stick techniques all instantly detected in real-time. traditional cross stick technique is automatically detected as the pad senses your hand and adjusts accordingly. Every snare nuance is natural, detailed, and bursting with character.
  • SUPERIOR CYMBAL PERFORMANCE: The dual zone 12'' ride cymbal, dual zone 12'' crash cymbal, and 12'' movable hi-hat feel spectacularly realistic: They are covered with a new thick comfortable rubber that creates the perfect blend of feel, control, bounce and volume. These cymbals are much quieter than traditional e-cymbals, perfect for your late-night practice sessions when volume needs to be minimized.
  • A Warehouse Full of Drum Sounds at Your Disposal: The updated and enhanced module features 25 preset kits developed with top professional drummers. 1 user-defined drum kit, the electric drum set offers a wide range of sounds to suit any musical genre.
  • Wirelessly Stream Songs and Backing Tracks: Push your drumming further by playing along with your favorite bands—including your own. Wirelessly stream songs and backing tracks through the electric drum module from your smartphone via Bluetooth audio. You can even record your performances—to hear where you need to tighten things up.
  • The Easy Way to Rehearse and Record: Offering a wealth of connectivity options, the electric drum set excels for live performance and studio recording. Multiple outputs and headphones monitoring provide enhanced sound control on stage. And with the built-in USB audio/MIDI interface, capturing professional multi-track performances is easy.
  • Acoustic Drumming Techniques Accepted Here: Four post metal rack system, coming curved for enhanced reach behind the kit. Allow for closer drum placement, providing a more rounded visual appearance and feel. Although this electric drum set can fit into smaller spaces at home, they’re outfitted for professional performance. Across the entire range, the position and angle of each pad are fully adjustable, and the overall layout is comparable to an acoustic drum set.
  • To the Music Lover: Fesley is glad to start your musical journey for you. You can find answers to any aftermarket and music theory questions with us. We believe that every note makes everything better.

It's a nice looking kit with much better hardware than most kits at this level. I like the separate snare stand and moving high hat as it gives this kit a more acoustic feel. The sizes of pads are bigger than most kits at this price point so they are easier to play on overall. The rack is curved instead of straight for a better feel and doesn't have a boxy feel. The drum module sounds are a bit strange with a few quarks that can be worked out with some adjustments to sensitivities, but I created a few user kits that I use instead of the preprogrammed kits and overall am enjoying messing around with this kit. It’s a decent kit to learn on and practice with without disturbing the neighbors. I did get a much better drum throne and use the included one as a phone table to Bluetooth my phone to the kit and also use a better quality set of headphones for a much richer sound. Apple garage Band will record your drum tracks to your iphone or iPad via bluetooth. I must say the included drum sticks are really impressive and you get two pairs. They are nice and weighty 5A sticks, I believe in hickory, and just as good as the Vic Firth sticks. I recommend this kit for new users learning to play but don’t want to have coffee can size pads or smaller like on other kits. Size does matter and having a 12" snare with 10" toms makes a difference.Improvements made to this kit:Iron cobra dbl base drum pedal converted to strap drive with DW control beatersDW two leg hi hat stand to better accommodate dbl bass drum pedalA 14” mute cymbal for the hi hat top (I removed the trigger off the fesley and mounted it to the mute cymbal and it works awesome) with the Evan’s head hi hat mute pad for a much much much better feel and actually better response from the triggerNow this kit is a lot more fun to play around with.

This drum set is awesome! I work night shift, so I'm awake during the night and I can practice while everyone else is sleeping and there are no problems, it's super quiet! Great beginner set, I love that the high-hat moves, super sturdy. 4 stars instead of 5 though because the headphones it comes with are not comfy at all, and I will never use them, and the drum throne is pretty crappy too, it's usable but its wobbly and I will probably be upgrading that eventually. What's nice about this set too is you can buy an amp to play out loud, but I didn't want to spend that money, so I tried it in my guitar amp and it works perfectly! Overall, awesome set, but the headphones, throne, and installation instructions suck

This e-drum kit comes with everything you need to start learning to play the drums- e-drums; drum throne; sticks; headphones and drum module.Setup is not difficult but it is a little tedious as you will need to put the frame together and the kick pad. I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes- it is my first e-drum kit.The kit's drum pads give a good feel and being able to choose different built in kit sounds makes it fun to play. You are also able to adjust volume, tone, reverb, cross-talk and sensitivity of each piece which is nice.A couple of complaints: The drum throne is lacking in padding for me- weigh approximately 200lbs. I'm sure it is sufficient if you weigh under 180 lbs. Drum module connections for audio out, audio in, headphones, power and USB face you and do get in the way of the snare if you position it so it's within easy reach. I wish they would be located on the opposite side of the module- the headphone jack is OK where it's located but may be better if it was more toward the side as well. BT would be nice to be able to use your phone, tablet or laptop instead of using a cable.All-in-all, this is a great drum kit for beginners or if you need something quieter to practice on in your home. Definitely recommend.

I really liked having a decent e-kit that didn't cost a fortune, especially since I'm new to drums. It's decent. The brain module is lacking and there isn't an app or driver for Windows so you have to use the interface on the brain to try to change things. The manual is woeful. The tech support (via e-mail) is completely awful.I had real trouble getting the kit to work in ProTools (via the USB MIDI), but have finally got some noises out of it... the dynamics are not good so far and all the midi notes come with 0 length. With any luck I'll figure out how to remap or change things in that brain interface.

Great little kit for the price! There are several sounds and functions, so expect to spend some time learning the module. Everything works just great, and it sounds good coming through my Berringer 18 speaker.

Loved this drum set. Feels really good when hitting the toms. The mesh heads are on point. It was also easy to assemble which was great. The sound quality is great with all the different sounds. I love that I can connect my phone via Bluetooth and play along to my own tracks. Honestly worth it.

Bought the FED 1000 a few months ago and was surprised at the build quality and sound of these drums. I played a $3,500 Roland kit at the music store and while not the same quality overall, I have just as much fun playing mine and saved $3,000. Hadn't played in 40 years and now I'm playing to all of my favorite music including difficult Foo Fighter songs. I put my Bose headphones on, pipe in my music using my Spark Mini amp and I'm in a rock concert every night playing with the bands I love and my housemates or neighbors can't hear anything. I did blow out my trigger on my tom and one of the symbols but I play really hard, metal, hard rock, etc. The Fesley support team is great and easy to contact via email, always get a quick response. I may buy the 1500 to expand my kit for recording and looking forward to this. I'll build a Rush kit!

This kit sounds decent and looks great. The feel of the pads are very nice and feel very close to real skins. The limits to placement are so very minor and is fairly easy to set up(a few misplaced and then reset pads and cymbal mounts). It fits in a fairly small area. The different sizes in the crashs and ride and snare and toms are nice. With the separate hi-hat it makes it feel more like an acoustic kit. The snare is nice and all the pads are responsive. The 'brain' allows for turning the drums off for the practice songs(NICE) and for the pad(all pads) sensitivity as well.My roommate says that it isnt very loud for him(the tapping on the pads as i use headphones).I am a pretty hefty, so if you are too, get a strong throne :)I am very pleased with the kit, and am going to get a lot of use out of this.Off to knock years of rust off :)

It's a long reviewOkay so I'm a retiered sound and lighting tech. As well as an old school drummer that never wanted electronic drums. But the life happened had a kid sold ALL of my gear. Now I'm getting back into drumming but with very limited room I needed something small and compact. Searched for a while and while these aren't top of the line they seemed to perform well judging by reviews and not being a professional and just wanting something to jam on, on my own these seemed to fit the task and the price range.Cons in my opinion. The sticks they send are similar to an A5 but they are junk. One was very visably warped and I broke the tips off both in a matter of about 3 hours of playing. The headphones are straight up garbage. They are uncomfortable and have poor sound quality. I use a pair of high quality headphones and notice a significant increase in music quality. The control module can only go on the side with your snair and hihat due to cable length, which essentially puts the controller right under the hihat. I'd personally prefer it on the other side where I'm not doing 90% of my drumming.I don't like the fact that I can't adjust the music volume as well as the drum volume. (I like it loud thought) no fault in the machine it is plenty loud, just not loud enough for me.Pros in my opinionThe rebound on the drum heads feels really good and natural. (I play metal mostly and hard) so far they seem to be standing up to the abuse really well. The sound also sounds pretty good and on par with a real set.The stand seems to be very solid as well. Never played on a stand before but really like the freedom to move things around. The cymbals are taking some getting used to. But again the sound is decent I just need to learn how to play them.I really like the ability to pump audio into it and have the music overlay to play what I want and control the volume of the drums.Overall I am happy with everything. I play them everyday may look at upgrading to a larger bass and a double pedal set up later. If your looking to play for fun and leisure or learn it's a good set for that.
