This is a simple game in concept. Made out of wood, you just stack the pieces to make them balance. Well, it’s not AS easy as it looks. The pieces stack easily but you have to remember that they weigh different too. It was actually fun for the kids and for adults.It’s easy to store, so the pieces are not giant but also suitable for littles because the pieces are not too tiny.

Dinosaur blocks seem solid and the colors are nice and bright. My 2 year old niece liked playing with them, but it may be a minute before she can stack/balance them as they are pictured. Should be fun for a good while if she can have a turn playing with them when her dad isn’t trying to complete the balanced stack. It’s a challenge!

So it definitely keeps my son‘s attention for a little bit as he tries to stack as many of these on top of each other as possible. He tries to arrange them in different orders and I can tell it’s activating a problem-solving part of his brain. To be honest, I’ve tried this a bunch myself and I kind of like playing with it as an adult.

Colorful and cute but as others report the dinosaurs are actually less than half the size depicted in the picture, I knew they were smaller but they are much smaller. I’m still unable to actually stack them on the base and without the base I can’t stack more than a few at a time, therefore, my 2.5 yr grandson lost interest. It’s not intuitive and you can’t just stack any Dino on another Dino, there must be a pattern. We spend a lot of time stacking and balancing so we aren’t new to this. Anyway, I do think they are cute, well painted and would be fun if I can figure it out. Pretty disappointed.

I originally got this as a gift for someone else but ended up purchasing again for my own toddler. My son like playing with the dinosaurs by themselves or stacking them to try and balance. The big black piece is the hardest one to balance them with! I really enjoy playing with these with him. I would recommend these for young kids!
