It's a bit heavier than I'm used to. It saturates well when the base surface is good and wet with resin. The fibers seem to pull away easier, but that may be what gives the product the ability to saturate. Just be sure to use a cheap brush to smooth the fibers down as you're finishing. It works well.I'm building a small custom shower pan and it's more than I need because I'm also using cloth.

Amazon is the only place ill ever get fiberglass, amazing price for an amazing quantity, super durable as well, im using this to make a fiberglass hardtop for my convertible rx7.

I am restoring a 1951 Henry J and that can get quite expensive and this product is the same product I use but much cheaper. I can't complain and will definitely be doing business with them on my builds.

Used in a sub enclosure build, also ordered a 96 pack of Chip brushes (also highly recommended) nice thick mat, holds more resin than the local HD mat, chums nicely. Overall good stuff!

This is a nice fiberglass mat. The thickness is just right. I haven’t had any issues with it frying or any other issues using it at all does a really great job and reinforcing areas.

This is great quality fiberglass mat. It is sturdy and provides a great structural base.I don’t mind the folds because it doesn’t matter for the project that I’m using this for, but if I were making a slick canoe, I’d probably look for a roll of fiberglass mat.This mat is great for all kinds of projects but I am using it for sculpture, to which it is perfectly suited.Great quality and price.
