It’s been a great kit for our little 10’, 30†backyard intex style pool and would recommend. The vacuum, I didn’t have high hopes for, but works nicely. The thread on it made it difficult to connect our hoses to it, but my husband somehow fixed that. The price was right and it’s held up nicely so far over the last couple of months.

I bought this set to help keep my 10'x30" vinyl pool clean this summer. I have not yet tried the vacuum - I'm not sure how well it will work, with the tiny mesh bag it came with (seriously, if it would hold a hot dog in a bun, I'd be amazed). Also haven't tried the test strips - I'm using a different test kit for the water.The pole is easy to put together, but despite trying our hardest to twist the clamps tight, it will still telescope closed, slowly, as I attempt to brush down the pool. Frustrating.The brush tool itself is easy to use and rinse clean. Softer, nylon bristles are safe for the sides and bottom of the pool.The skimmer is a joke. The tool's frame is soft plastic with no reinforcement - while you may be able to get tiny little leaves that float on the surface of the water, forget trying to get anything below the surface of the water. I tried to scoop up some leaves and a small twig floating about a foot and a half underwater, and as I tried to pull the skimmer up rapidly (like the bowl of a spoon), the whole thing just bent at about a 75 degree angle, letting the debris slide right off the net.If I had to do this over again, I might have spent a little more money to get a slightly sturdier item, with a longer pole. But since I mainly wanted it for the brush, I'm not too disappointed.

As others have stated the pole slides back on itself. Thankfully I have a 30†deep pool so I just step in the pool to get to the middle. Not a problem for me, and the other features work well so I like it. However, I bought this to help get the little pebbles/sand out of the pool. The vacuum is touchy and has to be placed just right to work, and it does NOT get the sand out of the pool. But it gets everything else out so it is decent for the price.

When we went to assemble using the instructions the suction head is not as pictured. The instructions don't match the actual product. We bought this product to be able to easily clean the bottom of our above ground pool. The head does not maneuver easily so if you are trying to clean the pool from the outside it is nearly impossible to use. The pole isn't very long either so you have to be in the pool if you hope to use the suction cleaner. Also, the hose attachment does not attach well. Overall this product is a waste of money if you buy it for cleaning the bottom of your pool. I will be buying a different product.

The telescoping pole is short and only goes to 4 feet max. I didn't see if that was mentioned in the listing or not but we needed something to get us started. This kit would be fine for the little kiddie pools, but not essential for bigger above ground pools. The net on my skimmer ripped after a few weeks and the vacuum head is not that great. Remember too that these vacuums that use the hose and mesh bags are only good for picking up debris and heavier dirt but not the fine sediments that would require a filtration system. Overall it's a decent starting kit, but not so much for the value in the long run or for bigger pools

Does the job it is meant to do. My grandkids can even clean the pool with these, easy to use.
