Does everything it says that it's supposed to do and does it well.Very simple to use. Plug and play.Was able to access IDE drives that haven't been powered in over 20 years and nearly new SSDs all the same.

I have had this for a few weeks now. I would gibe a 5 star but I am waiting to see if it goes bad in a few months. I am currently using this for my xbox one's eternal hdd memory from old drives I've taken out of old computers. I'm happy to tell you the connection is very nice and snug for all the connectors, and firm fitting aswell. There is no problems to report. I have basically been running it for 16 plus hours a day depending if I forget to turn it off or not. So it's being used a lot right now.Oh and the only downside is the drive is exposed but it really doesn't matter unless you let dust collect on it. I will return to raise or lower my rating in a few months.I hope this was helpful to someone!

Easy to set up and my computer recognized the drive immediately. Browsed files and copied to my laptop everything I needed from the old drive.

Pulled files from xp hard drives and place on win 11 ssd's fantastic. Works great no issues.

I bought this to extract files from an old laptop hard drive. I had to look through some tutorials online to access the files (nothing to do with this adapter) as I could not just simply copy and paste due to windows blocking me. In the end I got through and was able to quickly transfer my files to a back up hard drive.

Its a little on flimsy side, but works flawlessly.Definite 5 stars for the cost.Comes with USB cable and power supply.I downloaded all my old files, simple copy/paste from old drive to current computer drive. and then reformatted (wiped) 5x old 3.5 disc drives, and 3x old laptop 2.5 disc drives.Drive capacities were all different from 6.5GB to 80Gb.Simple and efficient.

Had a few old drives from 99-03 that I was trying to pull data off of and I knew that there was issues with the filesystem on both. Windows wouldn't detect it but as soon as I pulled it into a MAC, it found everything and was able to transfer data off of it with ease.Can echo that there is an off/on switch and to make sure you have everytyhing plugged in prior to turning it on.Super budget friendly adapter to recover data without having to send it somewhere and spend a high amount of money. Transfer speed is pretty good for IDE connections going through USB.

Me funcionó bien, para cualquier disco se debe usar el adaptador de corriente.Funcional para discos de 2.5" y 3.5" IDE y SATA
