This should be checked every six months. The pleated fabric filter can generally be vacuumed clean several times before needing replacement. Operating the unit with a dirty filter will reduce dehumidifier capacity and efficiency and may cause the compressor to cycle on and off unnecessarily.

Works well with my Santa Fe dehumidifier. Fit is good, no issues there. A lot cheaper than buying the ones the company sells.

We needed to replace the filters on the dehumidifier and the original filter would take 10 days to arrive, so my husband selected this brand. They look a little bent, but my husband said that they are working well, so we will see in the long run. Because they are VERY pricey I think they should be better presented.
