I have a slim fit filter requirement for my new furnace. This filter meets my requirements at a good price. Shipping package was made of strong construction which eliminates filter damage. I would recommend this filter.

After reading the reviews I had 2 concerns. 1) how the filter would fit my Bryant furnace and 2) would the filters be delivered undamaged. I'm happy to report the Filtrete 16x25x4(SlimFit) filters were exactly the same size as the original filter and were delivered by Amazon on time in perfect condition.

Odd that you can buy 20x20x4 inch filters that are not actually those measurements. My wife bought several on sale and when they arrived they were short on all measurements. There was a huge gap all around the filter and air bypassed the filter. These are the advertised size.

If you have an old dead electrostatic air cleaner that you have to physically squish the filter to fit in, these are the answer! No more squeezing required!I was buying the honeywell brand for my honeywell air cleaner and the full size were a PITA to install b/c there was some bolt or sensor in the way.These fit fine and aren't a hassle to install; just slide it in easy peasy.The only thing that annoys me about these filtrete is the direction arrow is printed on the top, not the side.
